But I didn't want to do the new program. I had found my points plus calculator and was tracking my points on it. I'm so happy to be able to have the app. Thank you!

  2. WW is scamming. They realized they needed to slow down results to keep people on the program. Slower results equals more money for them. How many people do you think quit completely once they make a certain weight. Most don't come back for lifetime. They realized that and started creating a much more difficult plan that would engage people to keep them trying to conquer it even though they were losing weight slowly. All they did was piss people off ..

  3. Thanks for the info! I am still doing way old style WW plan from late 90's early 2000's lol. I had the info, it was free. But I just got diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes (even after losing 60 lbs and thinking I was doing so well!, it's a bummer). My note is not about this though… DID YOU KNOW? On your library's website you can check out books available in e-book format and download them to your kindle? They last 28 days in your kindle. I have the kindle app on my tablet, love it! But I still do get real books from the library too.

  4. Wow… is like we are the same person but I am sure I am older than you. I made goal on PP in 2014/2015 and fell off the wagon as well. I am looking to join again via the app this time (I did meetings and app last time) and have been a little leery of Freestyle because of reviews. Also, I tried joining again about mid 2016 and they changed to Smartpoints (I think….) and I bombed and stopped. I found it very hard to manage and found myself cheating and overindulging because I felt restricted by the program. I thought Freestyle would be different but thanks to you and another youtuber I watch, I'm thinking I need to do PP again.

  5. In regards to Kindle, you can still get books for free. If you have one, you may want to see if your library offers rentals for e-books. If they do, it's awesome because you can get the book sent directly to your kindle and after the rental period, they're automatically removed and you don't need to remember to return them 🙂

  6. I lost weight on PointsPlus and Smart Points. For the first time ever while following WW perfectly, I gained weigh!!!!! I know it's from eating too many Free Foods. That being said, I now track all of my food through the WW app AND through MyFitnessPal to track macros and calories. I'm losing again. I really think WW made a mistake with Freestyle. My theory is that we will see a change by next year. I think WW is suffering with it's membership because of Freestyle.

  7. Yay! – You go, girl! I'm down to 125.4 …I'm just 1.4 from my Weight Watcher's goal of 124 pounds. Been doing FreeStyle since in was revealed in December. I lose slow because I work at Costco & I eat all the food samples on both breaks–and I do not count the points–yikes! B

  8. I am so shocked Freestyle doesn't work for so many. I lost 10 lbs my first month and now only 15 lbs from goal and steadily loosing 2 lbs weekly. I'm never hungry, controlling my sugar cravings, and feel great!

  9. I am so confused. I am a lifetime member. But have been watching an assortment of WW videos. Thought I was going to a meeting in the morning, get all the new stuff which will be all the Smart Points/Freestyle info. But now this ! What's a girl to do?
    I have no current WW info, last plan I did was years ago. Believe me I have been through about 6 different plans over the years.
    How do I decide which plan I will follow? If I choose Points Plus where will I get all the info?
    P.S. The only way to eat Peeps is after they are stale 🙂

  10. Yup! Points Plus was the best program in my estimation! I lost 43 lbs. in 7 months in 2011 on Points Plus! I did try Smart Points and couldn't stand it! Points Plus all the way, baby!

  12. Because we need more food to fuel our bodies. Nobody can continue a low calorie/sp diet forever. We think we are starving. Need more leeway. Sorry typing while you are still talking😂😂😂. Really enjoying this

  13. I loved points plus too. Been super stuck since we free style. How do we go back to points plus and know how many points we need daily/weekly? I still need accountability at the scale. I was doing so well lost 125. Had a knee replacement dec. never got on with the free style completely frustrating. Up 10 since surgery. Need to get going again. Really appreciate this video.

  14. My biggest complaint with WW is that there are still some foods that are basically "demonized". Sure, it's great that they are pushing us into eating more whole, healthy, foods. However, when you can still go to the store and buy a sugar-free protein bar for 5 points (just guessing here) why would you spend 9 on the bar that contains nothing but dried fruit and nuts?

    I choose to eat next to no fat-free foods. For salads, I prefer homemade dressings made with olive oil, spices, vinegar, honey, mustard, etc over fat-free bottled dressing. Instead of a bowl of chalky fat-free plain yogurt with stevia and berries, I prefer rich, creamy 4% Siggi's Skyr with honey, fruit, and a sprinkling of Ezekiel 4:9 cereal. I do find that WW encourages me to eat LESS sugar, but that may be in part because I cannot eat the 0 calorie sugar substitutes. So, where one member may substitute 1/2 a cup of sugar in a recipe for 1/2 cup Stevia or Splenda, I'll just use 1/4 cup of real sugar.

    I enjoy things like full-fat raw milk, whole milk cheeses (especially Kerrygold), real butter, coconut oil, pistachios, and avocados. I like to take a trip to a local dairy farm to buy yogurt smoothies made with whole milk yogurt, real fruit, and honey or maple syrup. Yes, I know these things have calories, but when my whole-food meals are quadruple the points of the processed meals of other members, it's more than a little discouraging.

  15. I've lost 16.8 lbs on Freestyle from Feb. 28 to now, but I have fluctuated from 16-16.8 lost over the past week, so this sounds like something I may need to do to jumpstart myself again

  16. Thank you sooooooooooooo much for this video!!!! I have been feeling like this for SO long but I thought it just was me. I lost 40 lbs on points plus and i have either been gaining or not losing much on SP or freestyle. Granted I haven't been as diligent but I think it's because I just felt that PP just worked really well for me and I struggled with finding my balance on SP or FS. I have gained 12 lbs and I really want to get back into the zone that I was in while on PP. Anyway, I will be diligently watching your videos and getting back on PP with you! Thank you so much! Your videos are just wonderful!!

  17. I think it would be appropriate for WW to allow their customers to choose which plan they want to follow. It would be more of a hassel, thats true, but everyone's body is different. Also, this new plan seems like it incorporates intuitive eating. I need more structure than that. If I didnt, I wouldn't be overweight! Duh!

  18. I love your videos! I lost 25 lbs. on Points Plus, and got down to my goal in 2014. I've stayed there for 4 years! But with Freestyle, I'm starting to gain. YIKES. I have been thinking of going back on Points Plus. Thank you so much for your insight and inspiration. Looking forward to more info on how you're doing Points Plus.

  19. You should see if your library has Overdrive. You can download kindle books and audiobooks (I think) to read on your ereader. It's normally part of your library card program😁

  20. Do you go to meetings ? Or are an official ww member? Because if yes to both how can you do the plan based on something other than smart points , like use the app and such.
