  2. My car literally shuts off when I run the ac… like if I’m stopped and hit the gas it just sputters out then stops. But if the ac is off it’s all good… help!!!

  3. Scotty, how about the clutch assembly on the compressors. I get cold air when the engine is cold, but after the motor warms up. I lose ac when the clutch disengages because of the air gap has grown. I was just thinking of replacing the clutch assembly.

  4. One item you forgot is to occasionally turn on the compressor to pump the oil though the lines to lubricate the line O rings. If they dry out the refrigerant will leak out too fast. My old car requires the old freon and won't work with the new crap. Great job !!!!

  5. I re-gas my car AC with propane , costs 50c instead of $80 -$100 to get someone to put 134a in every year or two . I've had cars that ran dual fuel with a 90 litre lpg tank down the back and a converter , pipework , electric solenoid valves etc. under the bonnet ( hood ) so don't tell me running an AC on propane is a safety hazard .

  6. hey scotty my name is sal i need help I have a 2005 Nissan Altima 2.5 I only get heat when I'm driving I already change the thermostat I change the water pump still doing the same thing soon as I get to a red light I get cool air only when I'm moving I get hot air The car doesn't overheat I have no leaks blower motor works fine can you help me it get cold here in New York thank you

  7. I have a 2012 6.0 V8 SS Holden Commodore,i started the engine then turned the aircon on and turned the fan on to highest setting it took about 20 seconds for the first fan to come on and then it stopped then the other fan came on and then stopped and then they were alternating, one would go off and the other on and vice versa,is that normal or is that the way it is supposed to work in that model of car!

  8. Thank you Scotty, your information has saved me so much money, I really appreciate your videos, they are outstanding👏🏼✨🙌🏼✨
