  1. I can completely attest to these findings after self administering Psilocybin for a couple of months now. 2 sessions so far at a 2 week interval about a month ago. I am planning another session in about a week and a half. I will expand below if your interested in my findings so far and what I have coupled this treatment with.

I am a 34 year old Caucasian male with no health (physical) problems.

My main concerns before starting the treatment was a massive alcohol problem (high binge drinking amounts, with a moderate frequency). I am also a full time smoker, about 3/4 of a pack per day. I had not been to a gym in over 10 years and did not supplement my body with food of sufficient nutrition.

I have also spent all of my adult life searching for happiness through acquiring things to fill the empty void with no success (consumerism). This is something that most of us can relate to, it is not the answer.

Before my first trial I researched, as with most things that I take the time to pursue. My belief is that someone has already done it, what can I learn before I do it. The goal here was not a party trip, or spending time with any other person but myself, complete introspection. My biggest influence was Terence McKenna. He laid out pretty much everything that I needed to know about the method and dosing amounts to be used. (I do it completely alone, in complete darkness and silence) That might not be for you, but explore some of the you tube audios of him speaking on the subject and form your own opinion, there is no right or wrong. I highly recommend finding the one on dealing with bad trips. You control the outcome, not the mushroom. You need to talk to it and guide it away from something that you don't like. Surprisingly, all you have to do is say it, it will follow the instruction, it doesn't want to hurt you.

I want to add that I had been dabbling in meditation for about a year before I started down this path. In that year I found my meditation sessions fairly bland with some patterns of the energy visible behind your eyelids when you close your eyes.

My first session consisted of 5 grams of Golden Teacher. The feeling of absolute love from the universe was overwhelming. Im not going to get into the specifics, but I was somewhat disappointed when I came down because the feeling of being human flooded back in and it was like my brain turned to stone compared to my expansion of thought during the session. I was convinced that I had moved past this and it would continue into my life. This is quite a normal feeling afterwards. It lasted a few days but went away. In the couple weeks after this I really started to question my lifestyle choices and spent a lot more time on inner thought and focusing on the feeling that I felt during the session and if it was possible to have that feeling in normal life. I started researching the Pineal Gland and listening to 900+hz activation tones before bed almost every night. My meditations took a more vibrant turn of energy patterns.

Two weeks later was my second session. I decided to try something different with another strain of mushroom. This session consisted of 6 grams of Penis Envy and 3 grams of Golden Teacher. This was too much. I don't remember a lot of the deepest parts of the session, just a massive feeling of a very high vibration energy hum and a very structured setting. Something like it would feel like to be inside of a computer. When I came to I got sick, but things got better. I still experienced a very expanded thought process although I wish that I remembered more of it.

The biggest thing that I got from BOTH of these sessions was that I was shown the reality of the current 'system' that we live in. Social, governmental, law, opinion, religion, and monetary were all laid before me and I got to see this from an outside perspective, kind of from above with the systems operating in real time below me. I remember laying there in a fit of laughter at this, seeing them for the complete joke that they all are. The lies, deception, misdirection, brainwashing, greed, and control were right there for me to see for myself. After this I really started to enjoy listening to guys like Max Igan speak. It made a lot more sense because I have seen it for myself.

My takeaways from the experience so far:
-My drinking has pretty much stopped. I may have a glass of wine with a meal, but other than that even the thought of it does not appeal to me anymore
-My smoking is still happening but it will be specifically targeted in my next session (6-7 grams of Golden Teacher) in about a week and a half
-I am going to the gym 5 days per week
-My nutrition has vastly improved, cooking good healthy meals for myself instead of eating out, taking my vitamins etc. Mainly because I see that I deserve it. I had a hard time cooking for 1 previously, seemed pointless.
-My meditation sessions have started to have vivid images instead of energy patterns. People, things, places in colour flash in and out. Sort of like its starting to glitch into becoming the dominant method. Sometimes it is accompanied by very strong feelings and sometimes I get so far in that what seems like only a few moments turns out to be an hour or more.

I know this is a very long read, but I wanted to share how this has changed my life so far. I truly believe in what these guys are doing, and I strongly believe that the government is against this because they know the consequences are that people will see through their charade. My views on life have been permanently altered from a consumerist viewpoint to a humanity and spiritual viewpoint. My next goal is basically to relieve myself from the system, sell my things that haven't filled a void and focus outward, travel, and if possibly help people in the process.

  2. I have Seasonal affective disorder(I dont think its diagnosed but assuming I had it helped my symptoms decrease when I responded appropriately), adhd, and schizophrenia. Some suspect I have minor aspergers though I would blame my parenting.
I want in on a study because I need help with my mental health and motivation and taking risks to start my independent life.
Currently I hold no superstitious beliefs as difficult to believe as that may be. I spent years debating online after my episode, and lost all my beliefs that are superstitious. Only if I am under extreme stresses will I be low functioning enough to not have my mental checks in place that prevent me from being superstitious.
Why thats relevant is because it shows I am less likely to go insane from consuming a psychedelic than normal schizophrenics.
I think psilocybin and mescaline would be superior to lsd, but those three I am willing to try.
I am not looking for a high and do not have drug problems.
While I am subscribed to the newsletter, I still want to make this message because, who knows, maybe a study idea will occur and then I get included after.
I am not on meds for my illnesses. Recently have tried some nootropics but they seem inadequate, though I am using them quasi-randomly (albeit moderated) so that could be why they aren't helping much.
