1. I'm still deciding whether I should get the Oculus Rift or the HTC Vive. I'd like to do roomscale with the Oculus but the pc I'm looking to buy only has 3 USB 3.1 ports, so a third sensor won't be an option. Is the experience really that noticeable when it comes to tracking with only 2 sensors? And also like the fact that Oculus has a larger game library. But I want to do roomscale, so if the Oculus is really bad at tracking as people say, then definitely I'm getting the Vive. Also, is the larger FOV really noticeable on the Vive compared to the Oculus or is it just a minor diference? My available play area is 5'x7' if that helps. Thanks in advance!

  2. I know this was a year ago but… On your first point about the sensors: WMR is definitely the way to. Those headsets work pretty well and have tracking cameras built in. Super easy to travel with.

So, ultimately it sounds like the Oculus is only a few minor changes away from being relatively perfect. The software is spot on, the controllers are spot on and the headset is spot on except it needs an adjustmet for people who wear glasses. I feel like all they need to do is put in higher resolution screen and improve FOV just a little bit and they will have a home run VR gen2 product.

  3. FINALLY!! It's taken so long to find a review with someone who knows what they're talking about. I always find people who bought VR because it looked cool and wanted to record their thoughts. Finding this video was great. Thanks for the review! 🙂
