  1. First thumbs down I've given …. I find the overall tone toward Aphria in this video sided with the Short Sellers. Until ALL THE FACTS are out, I would expect a more neutral stance. So in order to balance this conversation, a quote from Aphria's point of view and I would encourage all to read the full article on the company website.

"… The Company’s Board reiterated its confidence in the process leading to the Acquisition, as well as in its Latin American operations and strategy. However, in the face of inaccurate and misleading accusations by certain short-sellers, whose sole interest is in profiting from a decline in the Company’s shares, it is undertaking a comprehensive review, led by a Special Committee of independent directors of these, and any other, allegations in the interest of protecting Aphria shareholders … "

  2. Thanks for sharing your story at the end….. I also gave back my profits last Jan/feb. I went from 20-25k to 78k back down to 20k. I thought I was so rich. I was looking up all inclusive trips to Mexico and mentally spending my riches lol. It was a huge blow to lose it all. But I learned my lesson and you taught me so much. I went from 20k to 30k this Aug/Sept and did not give back my profits this time around. Thank you for being a great teacher!

  3. I appreciate your honesty about your experiences and being straight forward about things. It helps keep me in check and as a trader (my first year) I can relate to all of it. Unfortunately sometimes the best lessons learned are learned the hard way. Looking forward to tomorrow and seeing how things play out. I took a swing position on Canopy Tuesday not expecting the onslaught it received on the TSX today. Guess we'll see

  4. THANK YOU ….DAN , I LOOK FORWARD EACH NIGHT TO GET YOUR TAKE ON THE MARKET . I WAS ONCE A BAG HOLDER , THE 1ST. TIME AROUND W/APHA. AN IT WAS A BIG BAG BUT I READ SOMETHING @ THE RIGHT TIME FOR ME …’’ DO IT FOR THE TRADE β€˜β€™ NOT JUST FOR THE MONEY , IN TIME I MADE IT ALL BACK + . HOLDING. APHRIA . PLAN TO REINVESTED

  5. I did all the due diligence, bought in at the low, read charts daily and then proceeded to never take profits. I'm still up but I kick myself everyday for not taking a massive amount of profit that took a year of my time researching. Granted the MJ market will be back up probably but I need to learn to take profits during bull runs.

  6. Awesome video Dan. How do you protect against a halt? That's my biggest fear, could lose everything. Also, won't APHA gap down at least 16% to keep in tandem with the Canadian side?? Thanks!

  7. You're my fucking guru Dan, I learn so much from you and I love these more "mindset/psychology" types of lessons, because frankly, my TA is great, it is amazing, I freaking love analyzing charts and I think I'm damn good at it. But what I am BAD at is the psychology. Emotional control. Confidence in my TA after entering positions. Not letting my winners run, and holding those losers waaaay too long, which is incredibly harmful as someone who primarily trades options. I really loved this video as well as yesterday's, I just wanted to let you know that. Plus, a quick question…Maybe you could touch on something you mentioned here but didn't go to too much details on, about not letting this affect our day to day emotional state. I do get affected, hate to admit it, but my losers feel really bad, and my winners feel great but never quite as good as my losers feel bad…Any tips and tricks for this? I'm just a generally kinda emotional, up/down kinda person. Is trading just maybe not for me? Am I trading with too big of position sizes (I am, lol…especially for options…but like, my net worth is 50k and I only have 8k really available for trading, which is a good thing due to the options and getting emotional, I purposely limit how much is in my trading account available to me, but I also tend to use like 25 – 50% of that per options trade, often weekly options lmao…K now I know why trading is so stressful for me, thanks for all the help Dan! lol j/k, but seriously I just find the gains from anything less to be not worth the stress of it). Maybe trading just isn't all that complimentary to my mindset and personality. But any hints on controlling this is much appreciated! Because I have a really great ability for TA, scoping out trend lines, recognizing patterns, making sense of price action, time passing, indicators, different time periods, all of that. I think it'd be a shame to be so good at analysis, and never nail down being good at actually trading. I bought 3 week out NVDA puts at $290. Plan was to hold until the bottom of the rising wedge it was in because I felt it should go there next, and I'd buy back in if it broke under the wedge. Well it went down to $285, then back up to $288 and I had like $500 profit and was like ya know what screw it I'll take the $500 there's bullish analyst reports out there I gotta be careful. Then it crated to $135 in the next couple of week lol! I would have made literally millions I think had I had the balls to hold, but definitely 10s of 1000s or 100s of thousands, and I missed all of it. I'm rambling like crazy now. Peace!

  8. Can you explain what happens when a stock is halted? what happens with short positions vs longs? everyone gets there money back based on what the stock price is when halted?

  9. Just to pass on, NY Times just released an article about a top executive at China's Huawei Technologies was arrested in Canada at the request of the US and is likely to increase tension with China. I haven't dug into it yet, but take a look, market is already week, and go into tomorrow ready. Good luck to you all

  10. Thank you Dan, being redundant here but just super appreciative of your compassion <3 I took losses in the post-legalization reality check and it so often feels like I am the only one while everyone else around me is making money on the bounces. When you share your stories it helps so much, I am just very grateful for you.

I also think it's huge the kind of message you are using your platform for. When someone is compassionate towards my situation, that makes me want to be more kind in my own life towards others. Hope you realize how big a deal this is.

  11. Thanks Dan I'm a trader who's trying to get to the next level and It's a hard time. Thanks for your insight and precious advice at the end. I'll put that in my lesson bag πŸ˜‰

  12. I may be an idiot but I put leveraged funds into CGC at 36.70 today to average down my position, I'm feeling like I may have to wait till 2020 to get the profits I had hoped for in January.

  13. Thanks for putting out all of this content Dan! I've been watching your analysis videos for more than 18 months now and have learned so much! You definitely make me feel like it's possible for me to be a succesful full time trader one day too!
