  2. can I please tell my story here? Here it is: I have a question about my making first cannaoil. I used 7 grams of bud. I deboxyated for 30 miutes at 230 degrees F for about 30 minutes. Then I cooked it in a mason jar (no water) on the stove with a thermometer and I never let the water get to over 210F it never boiled. I also melted in a tsp of sunflower lecithin. I did this for about 5 hours checking on it constantly. It started to smell a little like burnt popcorn. (just a little, my roommate didn't even smell it but I have a super nose) So I took it off. The oil is black. It tastes the way I think it's suppose to. I put it in brownies and absolutely no high whatsoever. I originally made this to make a topical with. Did I ruin it? How? Is it still good for a topical? I still have about 1/4 cup left.

  4. Not at all surprised to hear it was very strong. I'd half the amount of weed or double the butter. Worst case scenario you eat a little more of it. With too little fat like you said there's a chance all the THC won't be absorbed. Better play it safe.
