Question period: NAFTA negotiations, USMCA, supply management – Oct. 1, 2018

Follow along as opposition parties question the Trudeau government in the House of Commons. The government is expected to face debate on the newly …

  1. Conservatives dont understand how hard it could have been negotiating wid trump..trump is going against all d countries around d world and asking to reappeal of d trade agreement.
Still trudeau managed to make some kind of postive deal for canada. And it could have been always way worse than it can be imagined as long as trump is on d other side of negotiating table.
Instead of critisizing wats bad about d deal..if u think it could have better than y dont u suggest d solution instead of just critisizing

  2. When it comes to understanding democracy Canada is clueless when it comes to the OAS (Organization of American States). Instead of backing the Falkland Islanders right to self-determination they abstain and therefore by default Argentinian colonialism. The OAS has clearly failed to live up to its own charter and principles. Meanwhile Argentine colonization and expansionism has been thoroughly endorsed. Falklands & The OAS (1 PG):

  3. Very interesting comment, Michele. Why was the Prime Minister so quick to condemn the justice system in the Gerald Stanley trial, without, it important to understand, even seeing a transcript of the trial, or attending a single day??? All his actions did, was to help the racism that is all to obvious, BOTH ways. I wish he would know and understand situations before going on his public rants. Intelligence should dictate that the convicted murderer, now in a "healing" center, be reincarcerated until the "promised" decision is made.

  4. Close the border. Screen immigrants thoroughly, with certain "must meet criteria". Eliminate chain migration. No more muslims allowed. One must be born here to hold any public office. Flat tax rate across the board of 15%, companies and individuals alike, 25% any individual income above 200000. Reduce foreign assistant pymts. drastically by a min. 65%. Leave the UN. Get out of Paris accord. With increased cash flow, improve standard of living for veterans, seniors, homeless etc. Utilize and exploit our natural resources to the fullest capabilities. Canada should not be held accountable for over breeding and pollution in Asia, india, africa and china. Increase military spending 10 fold. Make it easier for Real Canadians to purchase means of self protection. Reduce govt by 25%. Eliminate pymts. to indian bands 10% a year, until zero and they now pay taxes like us all. Sell cbc. Of course this is off the top, but looking after Real Canadians first and foremost should be a priority. Last but certainly not least, exile trudum to iran.

  5. ALL Canadians need to understand ISLAM. Islam is NOT a religion, it is a Governmental System which also has a State Religion. Islam has courts, laws, its own banking system, it's own schools, a state flag, cultural food preferences, dress requirements and everything you can think of that a Nation requires. If ALL people understood Islam as a Nation WITHIN our Nation's, we could BAN Islam and remove Muslims religious rights. No Nation allows a covert Nation to operate within its borders!! This is why Muslims don't integrate…they are commanded to NOT integrate per Qur'an in Sura 5:58. We non Muslims are HARAM, or forbidden and unclean. ALL of us need to spread this information to all free people and DEMAND our Governments ACT on it.

  6. I am a separatist 1st and foremost but joined MADMAX as i know it is the only other option w/out sliding into libby rhetoric SJW, delusional feminist politics. Now get rid of ALL fantasy free money grabbing criminal govt carbon "tax". I am dubious of max; Albertans are tired of supporting this nation with our"dirty" oil and being villified for it. Especially quebec. trudum the groper and his band of foreign born globalist cabinet fools are causing the division (Diversity?) of this nation very fast, and personally i hope they achieve that goal. I want ALTASASK to either form a new nation or join the USA in the end. It would bring me joy to see provinces and indian reserves dependent on ALTA for decades while whining and limiting real economic progress, have to support themselves while wishing they treated canadas economic engine with a little more respect..

  7. So now that the dairy farmers are going to lose market share we will be "compensating them"? So us other workers and taxpayers will be kicking in cash for a sector that we don't operate in? Nobody kicks in cash to my business when times are tough or competition beats me to the punch. We will be subsidizing dairy products that we already pay far too much for. If the dairy sector can't stand on it's own two feet without taxpayers contributing revenue directly to it to prop it up, the model is obviously flawed and needs to be revamped so that it can function like any other business venture.

  8. Max Bernier for Prime Minister 2019!
We can do it! Forget about the Liberals Trudope and Conservatives Scheep aka Liberal Lite!
Lets give Bernier a chance, what have you got to lose?

  9. Didn't the conservatives say that we should have let trump do as he wanted and a deal is better than no deal ? Where do they open their mouths. Interesting they offer no answers of their own. What a joke.

  10. “Behind the ostensible government sits enthroned an invisible government owing no allegiance and acknowledging no responsibility to the people. To destroy this invisible government, to befoul the unholy alliance between corrupt business and corrupt politics is the first task of the statesmanship of the day.”— Theodore Roosevelt, 26th President of the United States, Theodore Roosevelt, An Autobiography, 1913 (Appendix B)

“The real menace of our Republic is the invisible government, which like a giant octopus sprawls its slimy legs over our cities, states and nation… The little coterie of powerful international bankers virtually run the United States government for their own selfish purposes. They practically control both parties, … and control the majority of the newspapers and magazines in this country. They use the columns of these papers to club into submission or drive out of office public officials who refuse to do the bidding of the powerful corrupt cliques which compose the invisible government. It operates under cover of a self-created screen [and] seizes our executive officers, legislative bodies, schools, courts, newspapers and every agency created for the public protection.” – New York City Mayor John F. Hylan, New York Times, March 26, 1922

  11. I'm disappointed.. Trump's business card came out and Trudeau folded. Should've asked for more Trudeau; Trump would've given it to you on top of the original demands.
I want to know the details of the deal!! Seriously!!

  12. What Sheer seems to forget is Canada never wanted to renegotiate NAFTA. Trump told everyone he hated NAFTA and was going to get rid of it. So getting almost the same deal with a few concessions is a pretty big victory for Canadians.

  13. They should get him to do the eyebrow thing. It always perks things up. Just be happy they didn't get him crying. There's always that danger when he is pressed. Then, the whole country stops and we all start feeling blue. It's his secret weapon. He's very moral you know. And likable.

  14. Trudeau only problem is he love his people way too much! Saying that aside why would Trump want to stop American protectionism if Canadian don't lower all barrier to 0% that include dairy supply chain!

  15. No security in canada. They are the " new breed" People have good cameras to catch those actions agianst remote viewings and earth and mind researchs in remote viewing activities.. And nothing is done about satellite terrorisms and experiments on first nations and other. No hope for canada…your cows are being hackeds of anatomony by hackers in transparency and so is the canadian moose. Thats not protection.

  16. I hate how Trudeau can’t even answer a simple question. What did Canadians gain from this negotiation? Not all Canadians agree with him as he keeps on saying. It’s time for the liberals to go.

  17. I'm American and i don't like Trudeau but Canada should understand. What else could he do. Make this deal or have the car industry terrified which would put Canada into a depression. He avoided a depression. I assure all Canadians. He did all he could.

  18. Tail end of the discussion … and the last 2 letters of the trade agreement. Ha ..Justin is doing a wonderful job to assure Canadians that we cave to concessions and strive to be occupying the last place in any negotiation !
