  1. Coffee is highly overrated.   Tea (partisans) for me, please.      Medical care?   When was the last time you were in the hospital?     Great health care?   Fix the system.    Are we Americans rated so low in healthcare because of the number of people covered, or is it the effectiveness of treatment applied?

  2. LET GET DOWN TO BRASS TACKS… WHERE IS THE MONEY GOING???? DONT SAY National Healthcare won't work… or it will cost 82 TRILLION DOLLARS.. when money is spent, WASTED LIKE THIS

  3. Health insurance companies are DIFFERENT from General Motors, or Home Depot, or McDonalds.. Health insurance and big pharma needs STRICT controls on salaries, stock options, profit sharing and all other perks.

  4. Now lets looks at some of the EXCESSIVE SPENDING ON PERKS.. Like art work for their office, desk chairs.. etc..

    20 highest paid healthcare CEOs
Leonard S. Schleifer, Regeneron Pharmaceuticals (Tarrytown, N.Y.) — $47.46 million

Larry J. Merlo, CVS Health (Woonsocket, R.I.) — $22.86 million
    Robert J. Hugin, Celgene (Summit, N.J.) — $22.47 million
Alex Gorsky, Johnson & Johnson (New Brunswick, N.J.) — $21.13 million

John C. Lechleiter, Eli Lilly & Co. (Indianapolis) — $16.56 million
Marc N. Casper, Thermo Fisher Scientific (Waltham, Mass.) — $16.31 million
Robert A. Bradway, Amgen (Thousand Oaks, Calif.) — $16.09 million
George Paz, Express Scripts Holding (St. Louis) — $14.84 million

  5. John Martin, former CEO of the pharmaceutical company Gilead Sciences, made $863 million….. Anyone asking WHY medical insurance and pharma is so expensive??? $863 MILLION for ONE CEO.. REALLYYYYYYY !!!

  6. The Healthcare in the Netherlands is second to none, amazing. Every person (Rich or Poor) over 18 pays the same Euro 100 or Euro 110 (with teeth) per month. No waiting times. 5* care.

  7. Defence, Roads you're joking. Thats like a line from "Life of Brian" "what did the Romans ever do for us". Government do not built roads, they steal money from people and hire road builders who charge double or more than the real cost if we "the people" hired directly.
Defence, without governments we would need very little defence if any.

  8. I listen every day just for the theme song. My dad used to sing the same song (he passed away last year). You're probably too young to be my dad but it makes me happy to hear the song all the same.

  9. Roughly 1/6 of the US GDP goes to health care. Not talking govt income which is much lower. That is basically why I was anxious about obamacare being past, as you are just adding another layer of bureaucracy to an area that is 1/6 of the US GDP. With my current employer I am lucky to have very good health care coverage (obamacare coverage plans are currently not applicable to companies). I have a catastrophic coverage with an HSA. Therefore I have a total maximum out of pocket that is $3000. So far each year, including a year with shoulder surgery, I have not had to pay the full $3k. I have friends that individually had to buy obamacare, and they are spending a ton of money per year on premiums. I understand your discussion is theoretical, etc. No problem with that. I like to look at govt expenditures as follows. With normal capitalism, person A exchanges something with person B for a payment (e.g. two entity contract, I go to Burger King and buy a burger for the advertised price). With any govt expenditure, person A (tax payer) gives money to person B (the govt) who then gives it to person C (the beneficiary). Inherently a three way contract (if you want to call it that) is inherently more inefficient in terms of cost, control, feedback, outcome, etc. I realize that my example does not cover the safety net that we need as a country.

  10. Systems vs Goals is a good shorthand, and why we are always talking past eachother. Goal guys do not want to be slowed down by thinking systems, so impute negative goals to the System guys, when ever they say,”it won’t work”. The goal guys are much more successful at having their way, as they do not have to explain, consequences. System guys are always behind trying to explain why “it won’t work”.

  11. Not having children, makes you blind to the problem for every parent whose kids are being messaged “weed” is……..”cool, harmless, used by everyone, medicinal, etc. could the Government not have one voice on the other side? As their is evidence of it’s very real negative effects on young growing brains. Or should we all just listen to you?

  12. If she would kick one leg up it would be like Elaine on that Seinfeld episode roflol. Nope I'm not PM because I am not a British subject try again Bartman.

  13. Ok, you ended your presentation a bit prematurely because of the complaints about the sound quality. I didn't complain but in truth it did sound like you were speaking from under a mattress. When you paused to again move the TV monitor to your left, the sound got even more muffled. Not a sound engineer here..just saying, the only thing you have to present is your beautiful face and your interesting comments. If the comments are very difficult to hear, well…that's a problem. You might want to get someone on that sound problem right away, as the visual is not going to keep you famous.

  16. Right now, Medicare is only for those 65 and over, and they don't have a 75% higher income tax than non-Medicare folks so your math is off-the-charts-wrong. Yes, you'd pay more income tax, but not 75% more, not even close. Every other developed nation on earth has universal healthcare and there is no flood of people fleeing those countries because they can't stand their healthcare or their tax cost because of it.

  17. Yuuuup…it's a lie of course. Listen Scott…the govt lies, people can afford universal health…it's just that the health problems ARE BEING MOSTLY CAUSED BY THE GOVT HEALTHCARE SYSTEM…isn't it the 3rd leading cause of death? Don't they have a secret fund for people that sued due to vaccine harm? How many doctors killed due to new innovations in medicine… Scott, the problem is that when talking about these issues people don't bring in mind that there is a agenda going on. If it's proven that conservatives are being sensored illegally, then I can believe that people are being hurt by our govt, and we are spending billions on covering it up. NOW, SCOTT, NO OFFENSE, BUT UNTIL PEOPLE HAVE THE GUTS TO SAY THE TRUTH. ..THAT OUR GOVT IS NOT, AND HAVE NOT, AND WILL NOT, WORK FOR THE GENERAL INTEREST OF THE PEOPLE. That's why these people get into office worth nothing, and leave millionaires! Love your topics, but they censored Alex Jones cause HE WAS THE MOST HARDCORE TRUTHER!

  18. For example, may be africans, or middle easterners, or westerners, or whoever, wouldn't like my old europe culture, dances, styles, how we like music to be, how people used to have fun inside the communit5, our lifestyle, but what the hell do we care about that?, stick your dislike deep where the sun doesn't hit!, we're loving it ❤❤❤! https://youtu.be/fFXq03tCSb0 May be the afiricans see it the same. And for sure south americans have no problem with porno in open air called a dance. So …, these are antropological issues first of all, and only second a skill issue :).
