  1. What ppl don't get: It's not a discussion wether cannabis should be used or not. It's about an unregulated or regulated market. There are no real valid arguments for an unregulated market. Cannabis will be consumed in every country, no matter the consequences.

  2. You ought to read what has happened to DRIVING in the Colorado social experiment before concluding she'll be right mate in NZ:
"The number of drivers involved in fatal crashes in Colorado who tested positive for marijuana has risen sharply each year since 2013, more than doubling in that time, federal and state data show. A Denver Post analysis of the data and coroner reports provides the most comprehensive look yet into whether roads in the state have become more dangerous since the drug’s legalization."

  3. Wow Where did Bob Get his Facts from? Ray Comfort? or a Bunch of American Religious Nutters. Religion is The Opiate of The Masses. Used to Control the Minds of The Shepple Who Blindly Follow. Exclusive Brethren Will Back Him up. Lies and Propaganda. .The war On Drugs was Ron and Nancy Reagun Idea. But Copied from Reefer Madness the Debunked Movie . . Google Deaths from Cannabis. . See how Many People Actually Died from Using Cannabis. You Will be Amazed..

  4. UN says jump, greens say how high? He showed how incompetent she is by making her not defend a single one of his hollow studies. Showing the greens want to go from 'unregulated' to knowing who buys, how often they buy. And limiting that amount. I wouldn't count out using it against you in all aspects of your life. And then his last three points show if the referendum says 'legalise' then he's for the exact same things as her. Removing the black market dealers and keeping it away from kids. She couldn't even tell him edibles are more healthy showing she's not for that type of harm reduction at all. Other parties would be all for free market. Jobs. Money to small communities. And that means yes companies coming in. Luckily there will be another general election and the people can decide which way they want to go. Not as black and white as she says. Thanks Bob & Peter

  5. I will be interested in seeing the peer reviews from Bob's sources; he's got to be full of it, surely. One thing I will add though is that the country will never be drug-free – it's an idea of a conservative utopia that fails to see the reality that if all drugs are banned, then people are still going to access drugs through the black market which could be incredibly risky. Treat this as a health issue, and we start to educate, inform and treat the population in regards to the side affects of drugs. Impartial and independent research will also stand to benefit from the legalisation of 'Mary Jane', as we can then understand it better.

With this form of an empirical line of understanding – how can Bob still be against it? God only knows…

  6. You don't suddenly develop Mental Illness from smoking Marijuana. Bob McMoskrie is a fucking idiot, sitting there with a stupid grin on his face spewing bullshit for half the debate with no real sustenance or even methods in play to find a solution.

Even his example with the 'Gummy Bears' was fucking retarded. Their dispensaries are all 18+ so how on earth is a packet of edible marijuana lollies marketed for kids when realistically, they shouldn't even get past the damn door. Yet again proving, what an absolute moron he is.

My name is Bob – "There's been no War on Drug's HAHUHE." *Stupid grin on his face*

Sorry Bob, but yes there has been a war on drugs since the late 60's, so let me ask you a simple question which is what planet are you currently from?

  7. I went to San Fran and bought some legal weed and smoked it. It was the strongest I have tried in a long time and it was a bit scary. I don't know if the fact that people are wandering around out of their minds high as a kite is such a good thing.

In my own experience, driving drunk is easier than driving stoned. I have driven drunk and have been slower to react, but while stoned, I spend the time contemplating the colour red without reacting at all to the red light signal, so there are definitely dangers to drugs that people don't realize.

  8. WOW! EVERYTHING that Bob (DUMB ASS) McCoskrie said was BULLSHIT! YES, Colorado has an 85% higher than avg teen use but before legalization it was 86% higher! According to the NIH teen use went DOWN after legalization! Hospitalizations went up 150%? How many of those people DIED? NONE. This fool is simply regurgitating the same propaganda as Parents opposed to pot and Drug Free America, stuff that simply ISN’T TRUE! The “2/3” of the state that doesn’t allow cannabis shops is a simple ZONING ISSUE. You won’t find massage parlors or liquor stores in those areas either! GREAT JOB CHLOE!! I love the way she was laughing at him while he puked out LIES! Haha

  9. Psychosis and cannabis (Harvard Study):
“New research from Harvard Medical School, in a comparison between families with a history of schizophrenia and those without, finds little support for marijuana use as a cause of schizophrenia.

"The results of the current study suggest that having an increased familial morbid risk for schizophrenia may be the underlying basis for schizophrenia in cannabis users and not cannabis use by itself,” note the researchers.

    https://psychcentral.com/news/2013/12/10/harvard-marijuana-doesnt-cause-schizophrenia/63148.html

Correlation is not causation. Cannabis has been found to assist people suffering psychosis.

Psychiatric patients treated with a substance found in cannabis, cannabidiol, showed a significant reduction in psychotic symptoms and were also more likely to be rated as “improved” by their psychiatrist, our latest study shows.

  10. Hospital admissions may be up but this is because people have probably taken too much; instead of going to hospital they could have just gone to sleep. A bit like admitting yourself to hospital because you got drunk and didn't feel too good. Unlike alcohol you will be all right in the morning after a sleep. Cannabis never killed anyone…

  11. Bob is mistaken on all his "facts". Let's start with his claim that crashes are caused by alcohol and percentages have increased: A study under controlled conditions (the level of THC) in a driving simulator and note that the THC levels in the simulator are over twice the legal limit by law and still less than the legal limit of alcohol in terms of weaving between lanes:

"Once in the simulator—a 1996 Malibu sedan mounted in a 24-feet diameter dome—the drivers were assessed on weaving within the lane, how often the car left the lane, and the speed of the weaving. Drivers with only alcohol in their systems showed impairment in all three areas while those strictly under the influence of vaporized cannabis only demonstrated problems weaving within the lane.

Drivers with blood concentrations of 13.1 ug/L THC, or delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol, the active ingredient in marijuana, showed increased weaving that was similar to those with a .08 breath alcohol concentration, the legal limit in most states.

The legal limit for THC in Washington and Colorado is 5 ug/L, the same amount other states have considered."

One up 3% another no difference:

  12. Bob's math skills are not so good… Chloe states "hundreds of thousands of kiwis are using cannabis right now" Bob – "no, it's four percent". Ummm….what's four percent of 4.5M Bob?
