  1. In the animal research I read about, rats were given extracts equivalent to a man taking a full gram of straight icariin. Herbal supplements with no established dosage standards are guaranteed to be WAY below that amount, and way below any amount that would have any effect. They put a trace of HGW in the products- just enough so they can list "horny goat weed" on the label. Any effect noticed is either the placebo effect or the other ingredients. I suspect this is the case with most herbal supplements.

  2. I'm a female and horny goat weed is like my favorite tea if I can afford it and get a hold of it for some reason it makes me feel strong I think it's an adaptogen for in some way because it it just makes me feel stronger

  3. It boosts your nitric oxide levels. Which is your brain and body. Im not a neuroscientist but nitric oxide is responsible for erections but also intracellular communication. It is is the base of your brains biochemistry. Almost impossible to find human evidence for anything because lol.. you would need Fmri scans to the tenth power to study anything. And its science anyways so its all theories. Could be neurotoxic we dont know

  4. Beet juice raises nitric oxide levels. It contains nitrate, which is converted into nitrite by the body after ingestion using saliva. Results are similar to some of the effects mentioned in this video; vasodilation, increased blood flow, reduced blood pressure, promotion of new blood vessel formation. There is a benefit to the brain, especially starting in the 12 hours+ following a concussion and some obvious benefits to muscle.

  5. I am an adult male and I have been taken occasionally, organic farming, root powder, produced in China. I combine it with others, such as Suma, Maca and Panax Ginseng. The combination works on me, meaning I have a feeling of well being. This feeling makes me have the good mood for training or other. The manufacturer of this Horny Goat recommends up to two tea spoons daily for an adult male and up to one tea spoon daily for an adult woman, preferably at afternoon. When I combine as above, I take one tea spoon daily, preferably earliest about 14:00 and latest about 21:00. I tend to cycle them, for example I take them for a couple of weeks and I am off for a week. If I take them continuously, for a month for example, I lose the feeling that they work. Hope I have helped.

  6. I used to regularly use a pre workout formula from the Ronnie Coleman line which contained HGW. (I stopped using it as it also contained agmatine which Jerry gave a negative review of). I must say that I always felt like this product gave me a good pump but there were a few other ingredients contained in it too. I love Jerry’s reviews because they are always the unbiased facts!

  7. As Jerry points out folks, there haven't been any youman studies on horny goat weed. Lots of animal studies and a few human studies, but no youman studies. I think we would all be better off if there were more youman studies.
