Just proves they use drugs which is not a crime. Even a EEG alchohol blood test shows up for 74 hours or 3 days. So breathalizer test does not prove anyone is intoxicated. No sobriety test is evidence of DUI for a arrest.

  2. Rep. Jim Lucas, R-Seymour Indiana, has said he intends to introduce legislation that would legalize marijuana for medical use. House Bill 1106, if passed, would allow for the cultivation, dispensing, and use of cannabis for those with serious medical conditions, and go into effect July 1, 2018. "It's a simple straight-forward bill," said Bobbie Jo Young, president and chief executive officer of IndyCann, a local group that lobbies for medical marijuana and the rights of the terminally ill. "This bill encompasses the best of the best of the 29 states."One aspect of the bill stands out, however, said Young, who has been working on this issue for more than a decade. In other states, people who have cards allowing them to use medical marijuana cannot own guns. The legislation from Lucas, who is a staunch supporter of gun owner rights, would protect the gun rights of people who use medical marijuana."The right to carry is new and unique," Young said. "If you're prescribed Xanax you don't lose your gun rights. … We are treating cannabis just like any other medication."It's doubtful Indiana will go legal in 2018 since it appears the opposition is focused on an FDA approval of the drug. However it could be argued that nicotine was never approved by the FDA and remains to be the only legal drug, that if taken as directed, will kill you.

  3. This is crazy…When I used to smoke, I was the BEST driver out there. I'd sit for an hour waiting for the stop sign to turn green and everything was the cops…leaf blow in the wind?…it was a cop, Someone blow their horn?..it was swat team.

  4. I can see them using this equipment to get a conviction. How do they justify the use of asset forfeiture when a person is caught by this machine while driving. Asset Forfeiture was intended to be applied to a person which was caught and convicted for the illegal sale of drugs? I know how your going to answer? Because they are COPS and they can get away from it. But in reality will they get away with it.

  5. My brother is a captain in the police department in Florida where I live and now the police have the authority that when you get pulled over and they think you have money that you made from selling drugs that's all they need to take your money and then you can only get it back after you go to court and only a judge can give you your money back. They can also take your debt cards information and find out how much money you have in the bank and you have to prove where your money came from. It's getting out of control. My brother can't wait to retire

  6. They use the mouth swabs in the methadone clinic in Florida and it can detect how much THC is in your system at the time of the test. And they can charge you with a DUI if with the test shows you smoked in the last 24 hours. If they take you to the hospital for a blood test all you have to do is pretend you passed out and by law they can't test someone who's knocked out.
